After the N.E.mation! 7 Wrap Party featured in my previous blog entry, both my teams “We Want To Go To USA” and “OneMinute” shared their thoughts as they were overwhelmed with mixed emotions. Some of them let out a sigh of relief while some can’t bare to part with their team mates after slogging together for 3 weeks from morning till night of up to 14 hours a day at Nanyang Polytechnic.
After 3 weeks of gruelling hard work completing their N.E.mation! 7 clip for the finals, the Top 10 finalist teams had a wrap party to celebrate as they pack their bags and leave Nanyang Polytechnic. It almost seems like a graduation party with all, or most of them having mix feelings of leaving this place with new-found friendships, closely-bonded friends and going through these 3 weeks with fun, crazy and happy times together.
The pressure is on for We Want To Go To USA as N.E.mation! 7 progress into the second week. As mentioned in the previous post, they are working on digital animation as well as stop-motion. Working almost or more than 14 hours every single day except weekends, they have been putting in a lot of hard work and effort.
I visited Team OneMinute at Nanyang Poly last week as they were into the second week of their N.E.mation! 7 competition. They look pretty much relax as they said that they were pretty much ahead of time. Hence, they were able to spare me more than a minute of their time for an interview with them to find out more about some interesting experiences they have been through. Enjoy!
For this year’s N.E.mation! 7, being one of the ambassadors, I am assigned to 2 finalist teams throughout these 3 weeks. Previously, I have introduced “We Want To Go To USA” and this time round, I’m sure you guys will be excited as it will be an all-girls team, “OneMinute”!
